The Southern Stockhorse Association is dedicated to providing a competitive and enjoyable environment to show your stock horse. Our slogan “Promoting Versatility” is our theme in every show. It is our desire that the “using horse” (stockhorse) will be the standard at our show. We at Southern Stockhorse are not interested in any of the glitz found in other organizations, but rather encourage an environment and atmosphere where individuals may be rewarded for all their hard work and dedication to showing their horses the best they can while having a good time.
Total year points will be kept in categories of Ranch Cattle, Show, Roping, and Cutting. Category winners will receive year end awards along with awards presented to the high point horse/rider combination in each category of Open, Amateur, Novice, Sr. and Jr. Youth Divisions.
Membership fees are $50 for Family, $35 for Individual and $15 for Youths.

All shows begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Fridays, 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays and 9:00 a.m. on Sundays with
Cowboy Church from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Cutting classes are on Friday night and are open to everyone (members and non-members). The cutting points will be kept separate from the rest of the show. Beginning on Saturday with the Stockhorse Cutting class, you must be a member to show. A non-member may join at the show and will be entitled to their show points.
We would like to say a special "thank you" to all who support Southern Stockhorse and encourage us to continue with our mission. It has been your continuing support that has prompted us to re-start in 2009. We will do our best to continue making our shows competitive and fun for everyone.
We know that when you join the Southern Stockhorse Association, you will be showing with some of the nicest people in the horse industry.
