Dear Friends,

With much sadness we must inform you that Southern Stockhorse shows have been discontinued.

On March 25th, Joe Brown (our cattle supplier) called us to say that he was unable to supply the number of cattle we require for a show. Cattle contracts, cost of hay, fertilizer, etc. was Joe’s explanation for his decision.

After checking other sources, the cost of cattle and the restrictions put on their use has made it impossible to continue.

To everyone who has already mailed in memberships and sponsorships for 2008, we would like you to know that we will be refunding ALL monies promptly.

We have enjoyed putting on the shows since 2001 and it has given us much pleasure to see the kids grow and improve. We hope everyone will continue to ride and maintain the friendships they have made through The Southern Stockhorse Association.

We will miss the Southern Stockhorse family.
